Questions for Web developers about getting a job ?
For web developers with experience in the field
I have two questions to ask.
I have recently graduated from college with a degree in web technologies and am wondering how can I get a job in the web development field? I would like to work with an actual company than freelance. I have applied for a few but no response which makes me think something is wrong with my website or resume.
So far I have one completed web site that I still try to update and redesign to look more professional. I have done everything on the site from scratch. Could I get a professional opinion of my site? Any honest feedback is good. Please be specific as possible. http://tristateplasticsonline.com
Thanks for your time in advance

You are a web designer according to the sites you listed. If you work with asp.net then you are going to have to put a site in profile to show it in action (microsoft database won’t cut it because it isn’t an industry standard, you must know mysql or sql). If you are using your sites as a portfolio for thejob, then the employer is going to test your sites (I am sure you are aware of that) and the C’s mountain site has firefox bugs which would probably show itself in firefox, chrome (google browser), opera, and possibly safari fix this before you go for a job. I am just going to tell you its going to be tough, because you know the very basics html (looking at the sites), they may offer you a beginner job (learn on the job) to acquire the skill you need in today’s standards of design.
I am being completely honest.
